I was admitted to the University of Michigan College of Engineering Honors Program in my second year, which has been an invaluable journey in my undergraduate career. Honors Capstone/Thesis Project

Epidemiology, the study of understanding how diseases spread, their causes, and their impact on populations, has gained unprecedented importance in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Accurate epidemic forecasting is crucial for decision-making in public health policy, economic impact assessment, and global preparedness.

The CDC accepts collaborative forecasting submissions. Our goal is to deliver consistent, accurate predictions to aid in critical decision-making.

Our Research Objectives

Developing and evaluating time-series forecasting models using real-world COVID-19 data across the U.S. to enhance epidemic forecasting.
Establishing a systematic pipeline for training, optimizing, and evaluating models in real-world epidemic forecasting scenarios.
